I've done runs like that before with my baja but it's best to stay a little bit further back in the car. Also you may want to find a less populated more out of the way road next time. These are easy to come by around here. Less likely something will go wrong.
It's too hard to look out the back and then you are limited by the speed and acceleration of the 1:1. It is awesome fun trying to follow a baja 5B down a dirt road especially one that isn't straight. The baja (and it would be the same with any RC) has crazy acceleration you just have to be careful not to spin unexpectedly for the reason above.

few problems with that there... we stayed close because 1, the camera is taped to the dashboard, so it cant really be changed. 2, A baja is alot bigger than a rustler. A car would be less likely to pull out with a car close by rather than farther off... If they are concentrating on the kia, they more than likely won't see the rustler when pulling out. squish. The reason we did choose this road is because it is freshly paved! no rocks, no bumps, just smooth asphalt
Hehe cool... you guys better hope you don't pass a cop doing this tho, if there isn't a law already it will be written for you.....
I wanted to do this with onboard video, so the RC seems to be just cruising by itself (I'm not encouraging this) but I am not risking my truck or anything else, even tho I do know a few perfect roads to do it on
Haha, just drive it off the road when you see a cop, and keep driving acting like someone else is driving it, and hope the cop doesn't see it, and you don't get out of range :P
