If I may state my opinion, though I have no personal experience with the rc crawler fs section.... Ultimate rc has the BEST general fs section in all the forums I know of. practically all my rc's and equipment has been bought from there and I have never gotten scammed once, in 25+ transactions

I would also like a FS section here on this forum. And something like that you can only sell something if you got 100+ posts AND if you're 2+ months on this forum...

As stated before, setting a post count guideline would encourage spam/useless posts just to get the count high enough. So, you'd have to rephrase that to "useful" posts, but then who defines "useful"?

FWIW, I like th idea of a $20 fee for members to have a FS section, as well as other benefits like a bigger PM box, etc. Need a min member time/post count too so no one just signs up, pays $20, and scams a $200 motor.
Its not for everyone, but would keep un-serious users out. Plus I feel I get way more out of this forum than any $$ I manage to get to Mike. Keeps like a decent way anyway. Whatever Mike wants to do tho, he's the man. |
