i'm not anti nitro in anyway BTW (just to be clear)internal combustion will always be my passion,i tend to like a few more litres of capacity though.

It sounds cool.

A super charger would be nice,i don't suppose you have any plans for one,or space?

I hope we will see a supercharged 4-stroke with fuel injection from O.S before long.Their wankel is well cool.

gustav, it was the stock 2.5 with a rd-logics pipe and a acncm head on 30% nitro. oh, and by the way, if you are familiar with the yamaha banshee the raptor is the yamaha equivilent but a 4 stroke.

Gustav and Boss. the reason the revo can be capable of close to 50 is because of different climates, different tuning (maybe), and the fact that the 2.5 is capable of near 50,000 RPM redline. Plus the revo itself is very light compared to other trucks, which means the power to weight ratio is higher than other trucks.

Work because i gotta, play because i wanna

People here hate Nitro, I love it. I start it, run it about 50 ft from me and it dies, I go after it. Perfect exercise

I never disputed the fact that the modded revo could hit 50.in fact i'm not at all sceptical of this.but in my origional post, when i say monster truck i'm thinking 1/8 scale 5+kg,and i still maintain that most MTs never see the exciting side of 35mph.i said that's impressive for a small block which it is.

i do remain a little sceptical that a t-maxx can outdrag a 660cc atv,beyond the first 20 yards or so anyway:010: :027: .
