Keep in mind when you do dye, it only goes so far into the part...if you get a big scratch, you'll see it! (ie the bumpers) I think I'm going to dye a chassis etc. and start another build, I just wish I could find a G3R chassis....or wish Mike would email me back....*hint hint, wink wink*

The bumpers are already a dark color almost like black already since I stripped the coating off of them so when I dye it if it gets a scratch it wont be that noticeable. Im going to give it a try anyway. Ill have pics. Should have a few parts coming in by the weekend.

Keep in mind you can only dye darker than the part, not lighter, so if it is black you may have issues....thats why the RPM arms can come white....

Got the sway bars in today and through them on to see how they fit. There really nice. I love them. Well have to see how well they work.

Stripped the anodizing off the pushrods and front and rear tie bar plate things.

Made a brace for the rear shock tower.

Then took it all all apart to get ready for dying it. Just waiting on my chassis. Might be here tomorrow.

Yea, I have always wanted to do one but never had anything to do it on until I got the revo. Then I remember the one Traxxas did and looked it up again and had to do it. I think it will look pretty cool going around the track. Should look a MX deal. lol Ill have a different body also for bashing and what not.
