EC5 are 5mm bullets

EC5 have larger contact surface - whats the point using even 12ga wire on deans

EC5 have nice big housing = capacitor charge spark is not visible :), much easier to pull apart

EC5 have contacts both male and female fully covered

I started with powerpoles everywhere, then started to use deans in 1/18 scale

Now i run EC5 in 1/8 scale and probably will move to EC3 in 1/18 scale.

I went to the ec5's on my 8th scale and am very happy with them. Still use deans on my 10th scale stuff though.

Now I am going to have to remember hobbyking carries them. The losi's are $7-$8 a pair. Damn I just checked and they are $1.19 a pair.

Someone should make a "what connectors do you use?" poll, if there isn't one already.
