Need some R/C advice - 09.07.2009, 11:44 PM

So ben found this ad on rcuniverse about a 1/5 scale monster truck, RTR gas, and he is looking for a flat trade for a 1/8 scale brushless offroad rc. he sent it to me jokingly, but I am starting to consider it. I already have a motor and speed controller thats up for the job, so all I'd really need to do is make a motor mount, find me a pinion, and install electronics and lipos. I always love doing the conversions, and working on a "project" truck...

I currently race, and even though it is a points series, I don't care, I do so for fun. I am not sure if I could race the 1/5 MT at the track. If i could, it would be in sportsman class.

I also have a crt.5, that would be busy raping the 1/10 class until xmas time, when I will do the rc-monster conversion, and see how it faces in the full size truggy class(evil laugh)

So, what do you think? should I trade my converted hyper 7 pbs for it? here are pics of the MT, it is a smartech titan 1/5 Monster Truck, and you can find pics of my hyper in my sig.
