Even being an air core motor, there is still iron in them, as a magnetic shield around the stator, which is magnetically coupled to the winds that are contained therein. The rotors of a cheap motor will also be one piece, non-sintered, which also are doomed to the same eddy currents as a crappy non laminated iron stator core, which heats up the rotor. Because the rotor is not directly thermally coupled to anything for active cooling, they just heat up and heat up, and this is another reason why feiago's cannot typically run very long without over heating or burning up. They need heatsiking and fans, which not very many people here like to use.

Actually feigao rotors are sintered. All sintered magnets are one piece that run the whole length of the rotor (except for some feigaos which have two or three magnets next to each other). The process of making them is from bits of magnetic material ground up into a paste, then molded into shape. They can be nickel plated or wrapped, so can't always tell that a rotor is sintered just by looking at it.

Can i add press fit end bell on Feigao too

Pressed endbells are not a signal to a bad motor. Aveox- the granddaddy of neu, uses some pressed endbell motors and they run just fine.

Are you sure? I know what sintered is, I just didn't think they used it for those rotors. There are sintered and non sintered magnets.

He was a high ranking employee at Aveox, he was one of the head designers of their motors- took the design with him when he left and created neu motors
