4s 14t for 95% of the tracks out there... maybe 15t if you just have sick long straights.. nothing like that in NY though.

5s 12t is too much with a 2200kv

Keep in mind you want just enough speed so that you are topped out WOT about 1/2 way down the straight away for max speed...

yea nothing to long on the straights here in jersey either. Maybe i will bump it up to a 14t and see how i like it.

5s wont happen till i get some extra cash.
also anyone that runs 5s do you think 5s 3000mah packs will do the job.

That 1600 isn't going to run well on 4S. So the 2000 would be a better choice.
