Assembeled pics - 03.10.2006, 08:34 PM

Here are a few pics of the assembled truck. The ears on the top plates are for body mounts. I was able to lower the body about an inch over the stock revo mounts. As you can see the bed of the body is about 3/16" above the rear shocks. I have a few things to clean up before it's fisnished, but hopefully I'll have time to do it this weekend.

That looks very nice! I see that its an all out racer! My g2r is in weight loss club, ill get some snapshots of it, im worried that the ears might snap on you under a hard roll? (lets knock on wood)

The problem with nitro's these days are that they arent brushless... LOL

That thing looks like a serious racer. The low body and stuff is kicking.

Peace!

Very nice Chris. I love the carbonfiber, (still looking for somebody to make me some carbonfiber rims :004:), nice work. Put that thing on a scale for us and let us know what she weighs. Looks pretty light.

Hey, this is a really good idea, and a very nice truck! Congrats!

You just gave me something to think about, Cristo. I am trying to figure out a body for my G3R these days.

Thanks for sharing!!

Woo, that truck is wicked :) I like the carbon fiber and the rims!

The motor is sitting relative high in comparison with the other parts. Can't you build a center diff in your truck and lower the motor? Then the truck would have a very low CG!

Thanks for the compliments guys.

Sylvester - I'm worried about snapping the ears off too :) Time will tell

JOHNNYMAXXIMA - The truck weights about 7.5 lbs without electronics (but including motor).

Dafni - The Body I used is a proline extended F350 Maxx body. It's fit's pretty good. The wheelbase is just about right.

Jasper - I'm waiting for Dafni to tell us whether a slipper is needed before I think of building a center diff tranny that lowers the motor.
