Easy toby. I wish you was closer I would help. I trying to help you now. It sounds as if you hexes have stripped or busted a pin or something simple. Just relax and take it one step at a time. Start at your tire and work to your trans and spur. If you can spin the tire and no shaft turns it is between the two. don't get in a hurry and skip stuff. When you spin your turns can you grab and hold the cvd or shaft to the tire from the diff?

Just open it up, and take a pic, maybe some of us can find the problem. But check all 4 wheel hexes just to be sure all pins are in there and are not stripped.

The problem with nitro's these days are that they arent brushless... LOL

That is your problem toby. The pins make the wheels spin. no pins no wheel spin.

the truck moves now but it is still SUPER slow. something is still not engaging right. this truck should flip on it's lid and i can keep up with it running. so next is to take apart the tansmission i guess?

Make sure you slipper is not broke or to loose. Hold the spur or wheel and try to turn the other. Watch and see what is moving and what is not.

Simple take your time to analyse this.

You should be able to do it, you know, the solution to this problem can't be that hard to find.

It can only be in a couple of things. If the wheel hexes are alright now - and the spur gear is ok ( and the slipper pegs are still there and not burned flat from slipping )and your sure that the 8 spyders are fine - then your in the tranny is what it sounds like - snap a pic and get it posted and go from there.

Hows that "Hope and Change" working out for Ya???

i have not checked the 8 spider. that is what i need to do today. How tight do you tighten these things? i am curious beacuse i have only built my predatore diffs and my rc18mt diffs.

If i hold the truck in the air and pin the throttle slowly i can get tire expansion on my revo tires/rims. but when it is on the ground and i pin it everything spins except my driveshafts going to the wheels.

I think my diffs are to loose or out of lubrication

Is the set screws tight on the pinion and trans for center shafts? If not it sounds like a diff problem.
