Yes, that's me on the pic, indeed. Standing on renes staircase.
The vid is also in Holland. Now I'm back home in Switzerland.
The driver in the vid is my friend Marc, who's an experienced nitro buggy driver.
Romster, I never had it on a track against nitros, but Marc says it is as fast as his OS.21 buggy (and I had the throttle on 80%).

Yes, Serum, I bent a shock shaft. I think it happened when I wedged it under this beam on the far end of the spot in the video.
A bend shock shaft is not bad, considering the beating it took.

Maybe you should let your friend marc race it one time to see how it compares out. You may be able to convince him to go brushless on his buggy. You could sell him a mount for it. ;)

Peace!

So here on this forum who owns a Lehner 1950?
-What Turn is your 1950 motor?
-What Esc are you using?
-Do I have to worry about heat issues, Esc and motor...

You can bet on this! Unfortunately he lives in Sweden now :( We "met in the middle", at Serums place.
Last summer I was in Sweden for two weeks, and Marc and me spent every free minute on tracks. I brought the Revoxx, and we were exchanging transmitters all day long. Marc is like the brother I never had to me.

Yes, Boss, he can drive. I let him drive my stuff without the least worry.

Romster, e-mail sent :)

I have a 1950 8t hi amp. I run it on a 9920 with no heat problems. I run from 14 to 20 cells as well. Depends on the tires i have. I run from a 14 - 20 tooth pinion with 51 tooth spur.

Peace!

So if I use the BK 12020 Esc and a 1950 6 turn gear at 18t or 20t pinion on 14 to 16 cells. Should I be fine?

You have a 44t or 47t spur, right? I would start with a 14t pinion.

I am using at the moment a 46T spur center gear. I could also gear up to a 53T spur gear.

Coolhandcountry What are you using for a motor mount for Lehner 1950?
I have one of GriffinRu motor mounts and I am not sure if it will fit. Need to find a motor mount before I purchase 1950 motor.

The 1950 fits a standard 540 motor mount,so if it works with your 9L it should fit.

I heard on the Lehner 1950 the Bearing my be too big to fit thru the motor mount. I am sure the mounting screww holes will fit correctly. But not too sure about the bearing part of motor.

I mean, 1950 bearing may be too big to fit thru motor mount. But I am not sure. I have not really seen the shaft side of a Lehner 1950.

Err,drill?:005:

Sorry, the bearing's only about 10mm,can't remember exactly, and extends about 1mm,just run a drill through it if it's too small.
