The bottom line here is that if you see someone posting up in a thread that is lets say like 3 years old, then stop in to let them know to check the date, and leave it at that. None of us has to respond to the post if you are not interested in the thread, so leave the poor schmuck alone and move on. Getting nasty and being mean to them just because they did not see the date is just wrong. If your angry at your sweetie, then take it out on her in your boodwah. Don't take it out on our members. If your a cranky old @$$ then go post up on TRX.

What is slap worthy digging up an old and outdated thread and adding useless info to it. IE "Should I get a BK or a Schultz for my 16 cell LSP?- 02/13/06"; Reply 04/15/10: "Don't get those old escs n00b! Go get a MMM and some lipos! Don't mess w/ that old crap!"

Not only does it now show up on the "New Posts" for everyone, someone else might miss the timestamp, reply and get sucked into your vortex of stupidity from which there is no escape.
^That, mainly. Enquiring about an epic or older build that hasnt been updated for a while is fine, but when people just post 'looks great man' or ask a pretty unrelated question, that does get annoying. Reason why its annoying is because its either A) spamming/ post boosting or B) lack of attention payed to the existing info in the thread; nothing like digging up a 2 year old thread to ask which esc was used, or something daft like that.

Some people you just can't make happy.
Starting new ( Q&S type ) threads is perfectly fine, so long as its a sensible question & a search was carried out (successful or not). Its the 'wot am best motor/lipo' questions constantly that drive me insane for one, and then theres the 'has anyone ever used xxx in a xxx before?'- its usually 'hvmaxx' & 'emaxx' or something equally retarded :sarcasm: When you're new to a hobby, it pays to do some research first, then compile some sensible, specific questions that relate to your plans, rather than just post generic questions that cant be answered without alot more info provided.
I do however see some guys who do exactly that (specific questions), and it makes responding to each question much easier- I can then save that thread as a favourite and refer other people to it, to save typing the same answers repeatedly.

I am never pleased though....

Always got to put your 2 cents in huh, Jerry...

Loading up a decent thread like this with a bunch of "opinions". You know that opinions are like bungholes, everyone hates the smell but no one will break out the tidybowl. Last thing I want to hear is some self rightous "internet expert" drone on pointlessly about how good we all had it back in the day, or how the snow always fell sideways or back when you had to file the points before the car would start. Irrelavent info like this is just cluttering up this forum. I hardly have a chance to post any of my witty one liners anymore. What happened. People like you and that Harold guy are just loading us up with "insight" and popositiy. I did not even know that midgets could do those things before you brought it up. Sick. And plus, all of the prices are going up, and nobody wants any tea, what is happening, like nothing makes sence anymore. BLAAAAAAA. Sheeps know whats up, the can get "down" from ducks too. Keep that in mind.

Thank you James for making my point even clearer. What in the world are you going on about anyway? Someone help out here, James got off of his chain again.

"I like old threads and I cannot lie, you other brothers can't deny.

Cause when the search button finds some grace and Linc throws a round dung in your face you get sprung,

And you slide up quick, cause you notice that rc was tight.

Even the tires its wearing, it rad and you can't stop staring.

Oh baby, you wanna get with Harold and take some pictures!"

Thats enough remixing of ole mix-a-lot for me, enjoy kiddies.

Nice remix linc. Honestly what bothers me is when someone quotes a post that has multiple pictures in it or is 10 paragraphs long just to write one sentence about the post. I have a tendency to read threads from begining to end and that gets irritating. Also when people post pics that are ginormous.

If you want to revive and old thread, such as this one, more power to you. If you want to start a new one, that's fine too. However...don't ask the same question in multiple sub forums.

I like doin the research first and then asking the question, sometimes you dont see the answer that your searchin for and want to continue but on the same topic some people do just drop what they were doing like me and pic up later
