But you are right, mike should probably add a exploded diagram, because I think there are a lot of people who don't buy this mount if they don't have a clue (and therefore a lack of confidence) on how this part works.
I'll chat with mike about sending me a mount and will get some instructions written..

OK, we got the new style as well! But I'm having some troubles putting it together...

Where does the black spacer go and where does the silver one go. I have several screws left and have no idea where I should place them (going to take a pic now). A manual would be a ++. I'm also missing some screws (didn't have the original ones since I bought it as a roller with some missing parts / screw), adding all the necessary screws would be a big + :)

ps. Mike thanks for the friendly price, saved me a few bucks.

Black spacer at the bottom- screw goes though it & into the large bottom hole, then screws into the motor. Silver spacer goes at the top, screw goes through it & into the motor. To adust the mesh, you slacken the topscrew, swing the motor left or right, then re-tighten.*

* I believe.

Neil ... than I did it right, just added some pics of how I have it. But I have no idea what to do with the three screws shown :)

Spares for anyone with a motor that uses 4mm threads... Mike says he includes them to...

But why countersunk spares?
One of the countersunk seems to be M3, and nard didn't use it with his M3 threaded motor.

hmmm... i don't really see that much difference, the screw is still not accesible with my straight tools, and have to use those angled ones on this one again.

to stay OT: personally liked it better with a screw on top. but Mike, great work nontheless.
keep it up!

The difference is in the fact that you only have to loosen one single screw to set the mesh instead of 2 screws ;)

You still need an L-shaped wrench, but that's not really an issue for me (altough a screw on top would be slighty easier).

So the bottom screw is not actually tightening the motor to the mount? Meaning, if you took the top screw out, would the motor be able to come free? If so, That means the motor is held by one screw only??? Can someone clarify?

Yes, that's the thing that is kinda freakin' me out a little. Since there is some play between the spacer thingy and the mount the motor can move around a bit. I'm thinking about putting a washer/spacer between??
