Not to mention the noise... Would sound something like a nitro motor idling in a jar of mayonnaise...

I retired from RC, now life is all about guns and long range shooting.

Eeeewwww

Weather finally dried out, enough for me to get my feet wet. I very happy with the performance of this setup. just did 10 minutes of light bashing, high speed runs, and trying to brake the car down from 40 without endo-ing it.

Very impressed with how cool it runs. battery is around 40c, motor 50c and the ESC barely breaks 30c. Time to break out the skateboard ramp from the basement.

I can't see me going for any higher speeds right now, looking at a LST going 40 coming right at ya is fast enough.

Got the Losi single speed hub so I can finally ditch my homemade one. It did the job okay but I'd rather have a purpose made piece on there.

Here's a video from today. I broke the front diff early in the session, so don't give me grief about the clicking noise. It held up fine through the day even though the pinion was missing a tooth. I'll keep running it till I get a spare diff ordered on ebay. I love running this truck. Flies really well, and takes a beating. I'm sure some of you mistreat your truck even more.
