How lucky it must be to bash here... - 09.01.2010, 05:23 PM

You know... I've NEVER EVER driven my trucks at a place like this, because they don't exist where I live. Sure, I could drive 90min to the LargescaleRC track, but then I'd be subjected to people watching, me blabbing, etc. I wouldn't be able to really get a feel for anything, and the whole time be scrutenized under everyone's breath for my driving. But I've never had the chance to drive on a course like this EVER, and I bet I never will. I don't think it could get any more fun than this!? I've seen some awesome bash spots, and all of them make me green with envy. Having nice trucks like mine, only to drive them around the yard and up a 14" skateboard ramp doesn't cut it.

I swear, I think I'm gonna have some dirt dumped in my back yard just to be able to fart around and jump stuff. Not much. Like one big pile that I launch from, then land in an area that is about 4ft off the ground, or as high as the top of the jump spot anyway. I can land jumps like this. I just don't have the opportunity to do it often, or get nearly the enjoyment out of the hobby as some of you guys do.

I think you all should feel very blessed to have the ability to bash at places like this, because many many many of us don't have that opportunity.

Check out this guy's video. It's pretty impressive at times.

The jump he does at 2:39 is very impressive. I'd have to imagine that he probably couldn't see all that well from where he was standing, and his ariel control is really good.

It's amazing how much air you can get from a small jump!!! Looks like the snow mound is only about 3-4ft high, but it's the angle that makes it all happen. I'd like a jump like that, but sorta like what BRO had going one, where he jumps from a lower level to the upper level so that you don't have to have your truck fall 12ft to the ground.
