as for belts holding up to power, belts are fine and if they do fail im sure alot of companys will make better aftermarket belts too, just by lookingf at the size of the belt its easly as thick as my serpent belts that hold up to a 1512 on 6cell with out trouble
I'm sure there will be a way to cram it in there, I know someone here will probably even try putting a 1518, 1520, or 1717 in it. However I think that with the 1410 it will still be plenty of power and be worthy of wearing a RC-Monster sticker on the shell. 2wd or 4wd it doesn't matter, you can only put so much power to the ground with SC tires, even good pin tires will only hook up so much in dirt with such a light truck. Not trying to doubt you or the rest of the monster crowd, just stating what I have figured out from experience

Yeah but the street weapon and xx4 platform used three belts. Looks ok to me but would like to see/drive it on the track first. Doesn't look that easy to work on either but if I get to check one out at the track I will post what I think of it.

yep xx4 was 3 belts and they were ok the newer xxx4 used only a single belt like this truck and it was much better than the xx4, les drag and fewer pullies to ware out

Maybe you guys can hop on your telegraphs and have a chat about it. Let me guess, you had to drive your RC's in -50 degree weather, in bare feet, uphill both ways!
