I'm sick of my 6 min roar/efra tincans (LRP X11 & X12) needing a 15 minute cool down after I put one battery through it

So what am I looking for?
Something propper, no china cracker, nothing too big/heavy or too expensive either.
I'd like to get something in the 3300kV range.
4-pole rotor.
But no over the top crazy power house.
36mm diameter, ~50mm length.
Would like to get a Neu 1409 1Y or something a bit shorter.
I'd absolutely love to get a Plettenberg Extreme, but it's about 4700kV, so a bit too much. Or could I just put a smaller pinion on there?
But they both are a bit on the expensive side. So is a Lehner 1920.
Anyone has experience with the Lehner Basic XL motors?

Also considered Castle's 1410 1Y 3800kV motor. A bit big and powerfull for that little truck though.

Hope you see my dilemma here.
Appreciate everything you guys will eventualy come up with.
I have experience with a 1200kv lehner basic XL, its a torque monster, even with 2s lipo. Are you limited to ROAR approved motors? If so, you can't run this due to not having the company name stamped or machined in the endbell. But it will run nice in the truck. My recomendation would be a 1410 and Mm Pro, 3800kv (you asked for 3300kv) and fits the ROAR specs

Work because i gotta, play because i wanna

People here hate Nitro, I love it. I start it, run it about 50 ft from me and it dies, I go after it. Perfect exercise

Hey crazyjr, thank's for sharing your experience with the Lehner XL.
Will definately look into getting one, once money isn't as tight as it is right now.

As for the ROAR approved motors:
If I were bound by regulations, I couldn't run the CC 1410 even if I wanted.
Since I'm in Europe/Germany, it would need to be EFRA/DMC legal and the CC isn't.

Anyhow:
Received my RS Pro last week and got my Leopard motor today.
The Leopard is a LBP3650 2.5Y 2930kV 4-pole. Initially I wanted a 4D or 4.5D (eventually chose the 4.5D), but those aren't available. Then I found the 2.5Y NIB for 48€ with free shipping (currently ~68$US) on ebay, and since the kV rating wasn't that far away from the 4.5D I got that one.
As far as I can tell, this is a very nice motor.
Didn't find much tracktion on the track today, but it has tons of power.
Combined with the RS PRO it runs faster(even geared ~1mph slower than previous), longer and cooler than the Nosram matrix power reverse - LRP X12 13.5t combo as well.

All I've left to do now is to wait for my hotwire, tighten the slipper a bit more and maybe gear it down a bit.
And most important: somehow manage to find some more tracktion!

Even if limited, if you run mod SC you could run the 1410/3800kv. It was designed by castle, to be the most motor in the restrictions of the 540 motor case design. If i were to get a xl, i'd go with 3000kv or lower, i hear the xl is an amp hog in higher kv's.
