I would use the 16, it would give better torque and better temps with the 9xl. Mine gets a little warm on 18t on the 10xl but is great, the 16t gives me too much torque but awesome temps, i can keep my hand on the motor without taking it off.

Squee, you are the man when it comes to Brushless. Your memory bank must be about full by now. Thanks for sharing your knowledge with the rest of us.
