if you are careful and don't wheelie a bunch they might last for a while. i think the worst thing for the diffs is punching it from a stand still.

a spool is bad on higher speeds. Doesn't help the truck to get stable..

the spools are in the truck now because i blew the diff cups with a dual HV-maxx setup.
would the maximizer cups with RRP gears hold up, or should i save up for UE or hibrid bulks........

My 7075 cups are still going strong. They are nog as tough as the UE's but on the 7XL they survive quite well.
shim the properly is my advice, and maintain them every now and then. And use aluminum housings or the new 3.3 t-maxx housings. (they use more screws, which makes them more stable)

If you can, go for the combo bulks instead of aluminum housings. After cases and bulks, it comes to about the same thing...

i already have alu. bulks so it is a no go on the combo bulks. should i get the traxxas ring and pinions or the RRP ring and pinions? i dont want to be in the same situation like my buggy was by ripping the diff apart every half a run.............

you may be able to gear up two teeth and be fine. How's the Quark? Also, are you going with Single speed?
