Just to clarify, 40K rpm is not the absolute max rpm. Its simply recommended not to run them past that because efficency takes a nose dive.

My intention wasn't the argue, but putting down currents as a reference isn't working, thanks for the explaining part, i now know your intention.

Calculating efficiency on motors is one thing, but if they are right? in theory, yes. but practice? I discussed this with Daniel quite some time ago (over email i thought it was)

some basic things; (with the help of sir Lehner)

non segmented magnets heat up quicker on partial load, due to eddy currents.
the most efficient part of the BL motors is at about 70% of their full potential. Above that you get more power, but it's not linear anymore (they heat up quicker)
