The receiver is ok , itry the receiver with onother esc and works ok...

I would personally use a seperate UBEC with it. have you got one you can test it with? the only option i can think of at this moment is that the BEC is dead.

Are you sure you had it set to the correct battery type? If you have it set to NiMH the Quark still lets you set a lipo cut off voltage and you might think you have it set to Lipo.
I can't decide if its more fun
to make it...
