it was a great time at that comp. i would love to talk to you more about your dig setup. thats next on my "to do" list for the red bull bug.

The problem with nitro's these days are that they arent brushless... LOL

Jeremy: If you pm me (here or rccrawler) your e-mail address I can send you a couple more pictures I took of your rig. It was definately one of the more fun compititions that I've been to, I just wish I could have seen the scale rigs compete.

Here's a vid I took while my dad drove. It was taken at the East TN Rock Crawlers (ETRC) get together in Knoxville this past Saturday. This was the first time my dad has driven a crawler and the first time for me posting a video, so don't expect too much.

Tlt-1 axles that are locked, along with a pede tranny that is locked, I will be running a Integy 55t lathe motor along with a traxxas xl-5 esc & Hitec 645mg servo for the steering duties

well according to all my tracking #'s I should be getting the stuff i ordered between sat & next monday....so I will have pics soon

you'll probably want something smoother than the xl-5. there are several economical esc's that are decent crawler esc's, like the moped, rooster, etc

I think I'm gonna give the xl-5 a try and if I end up not liking it, Ill just put into my sons ruslter.....if need be...

I would go with the xl-5...there is nothing wrong with the esc IMO
