I have, but it wouldn't be my first choice. Heavy, lot of rotating mass, etc. Personally, I think a 3 speed will be a pain in the ass to gear. I would just go with a 2 speed if you want a tranny so back. Revo would be my choice. Revo tranny with a center diff and rear brake kit, along with all the RRP gears should make for a bulletproof tranny.

Take the front and rear end from a LSP. And design your own chassis around it. Just what Entjoles said.

Because you can make the chassis stronger, where it have te be. You can design all the parts very low. You can design the parts where ever you want, for a good balance. You can just design a perfect chassis for this killer combination :D

that is a great Idea. Now I just need to know which truggy/buggy/monster truck has the best (most durable, handling, suspension etc..) front and rear components. I'll look into it. Thanks.
