I live near an AFB, They would have scrambled the fighters on that jump

Wow! I don't know how I missed this thread, but HOLY COW! You just need to have some kind of setup where you flick ch3 and wings snap out to get some serious glide. :)

You see the gold can-thingy on the motor? That is the 2 speed, though I could never figure out how you would have brakes while using it...

If you look real closely at the pic where the truck is in the air, you can just barely see it.

lol, j/k. Looks like it must be that yellow part of the motor. I wonder if it's a planetary drive setup that has a clutch that engages different parts of it to make the two ratios, kinda like how an automatic tranny in a real car works. That would allow the use of brakes and reverse too.

EDIT: Argg. cemetary beat me to it. I gotta stop getting distracted when replying...

Very cool will that work on any BL motor ?. Also since it's a two speed how would you know what pinion to choose ?.

I wouldn't go any higher than an S motor for that since it doesn't look like it would stand up to serious torque.
