I will as soon as i can, All he really did was drill 4 holes into the skid and cut a hole for the diff gear (he used an ofna diff/51 tooth plastic diff gear) there is a slight offset for motor clearance. My current gearing is 19 pinion with the 51 spur and 1/8 buggy diffs (stock)
here is the setup according to Brian G's speed program
6s
Differential Ratio: 3.3076923076923075
Transmission Ratio: 1
Other Ratio: 1
Spur Tooth Count: 51
Pinion Tooth Count: 19
Total Voltage: 22.2
Motor KV: 1183
Tire Diameter (inches): 5.8
Tire Ballooning (inches): 0
Motor Current Draw: 0
Motor coil Ω: 0
Spur/Pinion Ratio: 2.68 : 1
Total Ratio: 8.87854 : 1
Tire Circumference (inches): 18.22 inches (462.82 mm)
Total Motor Speed: 26262.6 RPM
Vehicle Speed: 51.04 mph (81.99 km/h)
Effective KV Value: 1183

and 4s
Differential Ratio: 3.3076923076923075
Transmission Ratio: 1
Other Ratio: 1
Spur Tooth Count: 51
Pinion Tooth Count: 19
Total Voltage: 14.8
Motor KV: 1183
Tire Diameter (inches): 5.8
Tire Ballooning (inches): 0
Motor Current Draw: 0
Motor coil Ω: 0
Spur/Pinion Ratio: 2.68 : 1
Total Ratio: 8.87854 : 1
Tire Circumference (inches): 18.22 inches (462.82 mm)
Total Motor Speed: 17508.4 RPM
Vehicle Speed: 34.03 mph (54.66 km/h)

I know i never run the motor even close to the true potential but it never got hot or faltered. The MGM is giving me some problems, Got to send it back in, but i am running a quark 125 (unmodded) and will see how it runs on 4 and 5s.

5s should be intresting
Differential Ratio: 3.3076923076923075
Transmission Ratio: 1
Other Ratio: 1
Spur Tooth Count: 51
Pinion Tooth Count: 19
Total Voltage: 18.5
Motor KV: 1183
Tire Diameter (inches): 5.8
Tire Ballooning (inches): 0
Motor Current Draw: 0
Motor coil Ω: 0
Spur/Pinion Ratio: 2.68 : 1

Tire Circumference (inches): 18.22 inches (462.82 mm)
Total Motor Speed: 21885.5 RPM
Vehicle Speed: 42.53 mph (68.32 km/h)

I will get the pics, of the diff setup, as soon as i can

People here hate Nitro, I love it. I start it, run it about 50 ft from me and it dies, I go after it. Perfect exercise

awesome man.

so he took two center diff mounts, put them on the center plate, and ran it like that? sounds VERY simple to me, and easy to do.

is the main benefit of the center diff to help preserve the driveline?
how much does it help over the stock slipper gear that is already there?

I have also modified my driveline with revo driveshafts instead of kyosho universals or the stock dog bones. do you know if there are any diff outputs that would accept the traxxas revo yokes?

the main reason for the center diff is to split the power Front and rear, if you get a lot of power you can set the center to offload more or less to the front depending on traction available.I'm sure there is a bit of protection, but its not the main thing
