Don't expect them to ship in a week... I talked to them Monday (I sent in 3 MMs, lol) and it sounded to me like it would be about a month to get them out.

I talked with castle creations today. They said at this point there is no new software to run the NEU motors. So when the next batch of MM's ship they will still have the same software.

You didn't happen to hear when the new batch of MMs will be ready, did you?

Acutally... they did tell me maybe 3 weeks... I est another week to get them to the distributors... thus "about a month"
That was over two weeks ago... so the end of this week would be about right.
I recall last October they had a big delay getting a shipment out due to some supplier issues (waiting on boxes and cds for packaging)
I hope mine are ready to ship Thurs....

I've got two MMs that I just want replaced. Would I be able to send in $100 and my two MMs, and then have them replaced? Or is there more to it?

I would send them in first.. there is always the possibility that they will replace at no charge. Otherwise... it's a flat $50 fee. I don't know about shipping charges though.

BTW: my "soon" response was tongue-in-cheek; just like their MMM page saying "Coming soon" for the last billion years...

i just got another email today that, despite castle saying a week ago that the new batch of MM's would be out in a week - that they're now a few days away from shipping. sort of reminds me of the quote from snatch:
turkish: 'what's happening with them sausages charlie?'
sausage charlie: 'five minutes, turkish'
turkish: 'it was 2 minutes 5 minutes ago!'
i'm turning purple from holding my breath.
(yes, that was sarcasm)

One of their distributers response...
"ya that is what is taking so long (been waiting a MONTH now!) to get these from Castle, they did some internal improvements and a new board so it's taken them forever to get up production. They are in the final phase right now though and start shipping next week!"

FWIW I just received this email from Bishop Power Products (after a long wait...):
"I wanted to update you that I have had a new ESC sent out
to
you today ......This is also the latest
version of
the MambaMax ESC that we just got in. Thank you again"
So hopefully- not too far away...
(BTW I am learning a lot from you all on this forum- thanks!)

well, i got my 'new' MM today in the mail, and supposedly it has numerous updates - but the castle link software is still at 3.0, and firmware options are 1.09 (loaded) and 1.07.
there is no information on castle's site about updates to the circuit board to the MM.
joe - can you shed some light on this?
