How about keeping the ez-start but running it with a Mamba 25 and 280 brushless motor of a lipo reciever pack - That way you could keep some brushless... :)

Sounds like an interesting build pics would be nice....

That awesome! The fact that the engine is perfectly center should make for an amazing weight distribution.

Let us know how she runs (actually - get a vid to show us!)

Thanks BP-Revo! once I remove the ez-start the weight distribution is going to be pretty much taken care of :O) And I like the fact that the weight distribution is very similar with my brushless Gorilla E-maxx as both engine/ motor position and weight are almost the same. See pics to compare

By the way this rig is 3500g (7.7lbs) without rx batt and fuel so it's much lighter than truggies so i'm pretty impressed with the weight saving so far! when I remove the ez-start and reverse gears it will be 3300g (7.25lbs) with an OS18TM so watch out truggies!!! just kidding about truggies... well maybe not! hehehe

wow, looks great

btw...it looks like the exhaust stinger is pointing down, if you land on soft dirt it will plug the stinger and flood the engine

your right, great eyes! I didn't secure the pipe yet as I'm still waiting for my exhaust seal that needs replacing!

Another 1st for RCM. I wonder if George fro GorillaMaxx has seen this, might inspire hime to make a dedicated Nitro chassis. It does look rather cool like the dead center engine.

No it's the t-maxx tranny but I do have a revo tranny and it could mount in there with slight modifications (spacers and shaving 1-2mm off the brake on each side). My revo tranny doesn't have the diff and is missing the output gear so I just re-used the t-maxx one and just shaved a nick on one side to be able to mount it lower :O)

Is that an HPI Bug body or the Proline unit that was discontinued?

Proline for revo 3.3 as my gorillamaxx chassis is extended (wheelbase 13.7") and yes I think it's discontinued! Should I save it from scratches... lol

HPI is coming out with a monster baja body next month. I'd like a baja for my next MT.
