softer anti-rol bar

more possitive rear camber gives you less change of traction rolling
Less (smaller angle) caster in front gives you less steering
I tried different diff oils, sway bars and everything.

But thank you anyway

Okay, today was much better! I think one of my problems were worn down rear tires.
I switched back to a thinner rear sway bar and a lighter oil in the front diff. Now it's pretty good. It was easy to drive today, the track was very loose.

Daf, try putting some of the caster clips in the back. Most run them all up front so the a-arms are all the way back, for more steering, but thats obviously not necessary with your truck.

Thank you! As I posted yesterday, the few changes helped a lot. The biggest thing probably were the new tires. At the moment I have the caster clips at 2-2.

I will go out to a track again today. Again with my buggy and this revo, and as sad as it is, I will have to decide between one of them :frown: I can only afford to keep one racer, sad truth. And focusing on one class will be better for me anyway, as I don't have unlimited time for this hobby.

Stay tuned

Daf

The shock bodies are threaded, allowing you to turn the dial-type thingy, which in turn softens or stiffens the suspension by compressing/de-compressing the spring. It allows for much finer adjustments than just changing to a softer/stiffer spring.

Neil, This isn't how I understand it to be. The pre-load nut is only to counter the weight of the vehicle to get the static resting position of the truck at a height you want. Past this, the spring rate determines how soft or stiff you are (not considering progressive geometry the revo has). I bring this up cause I was about to suggest to Daf to go with softer springs in the rear to get more weight transfer to the rear. But he seems to have solved his problem so......cheers:027: <===taking a swig

Cheers :)

Yeah, now it handles great. On the track, it looks just like an 1/8!

But I am facing the dilemma of not being able to afford 2 race RCs at the moment. No matter how I turn it, 2 is pointless for me. I think focusing on one class would make stuff much easier for me. The big problem now is that I like the buggies a lot. I think I will try to sell the revo :012:

I went truggy and wouldn't have changed a thing. Same with a buggy.......there's so much more room and a flat chassis is ideal for mounting things and getting creative.:dft012:

Im from bar-celona, I know no-thing..... (faulty towers fans will get the joke)
Once again I display my amazing lack of knowledge. :007:

Dafni- yeah, that sucks, but I think selling the Revo makes more sense. In a few years you will be able to pick up a good rolling chassis for about $50, so you can always build another!

A little off-topic, but I just noticed that Dafni has both of the top viewed threads in the entire forum! This one at 15k+, and the other Revo thread at 16k+! How's it feel to be so popular? :)

LOL Feels good :)

The thread of my first BL revo is like 2 1/2 years old... time flies :026: Back then Starscream and me were the only guys with BL revos here.

1bhutch, you're talking about the shock boots maybe? They are Jato parts, but fit the revo shocks too.
