Its a titanium HCR Mutant Maxx without top plate converted to brushless extended about 1 inch to a 15-1/2inch wheelbase. Just a couple of mm longer than a Losi 8T 2.0. The top plate is not needed as I mounted the servo flat to the chassis and use red TRX 7075 T6 billet Tubes with Dubro Monsterball links to give the chassis rigidity. The chassis also has been modified to have alittle more kickup than stock. The Mutant doesn't come with any kick up.

This is my main truck and what has become of this project. I'm building a waterproof high CG river runner/trail truck with the tons of left over parts.

Thank you guys for all your help!! What do you think? It handles very much like a BL 8T. I'm perfecting the steering but it is good.

Thanks guys!! It really means alot! I couldn't have done it without you.

My UE 8 gear Ultralites are under the weather so I've got my 3.3 spec diffs in there. They are working surprisingly swell They lasted about 8 hard runs with this setup. and are still going strong! I said all that to say that until I get the Ultralites back in I'm too embarrassed about the yucky small black 3.3 diffs. They will hold up will though in my brushed water-resistant/bash-buddy truck:

I suppose I can post some teasers

LST2 Sway bars that I probably don't even need but they will not remain untested.

Stay tuned for video!

Please lets not make this about batteries. My nxt batteries will either be Hyperion g3 or more likely NeuEnergy. I've been very satisfied with the performance of these MaxAmps. The price I paid was not even that bad. Customer service was great they saved me a ton of money off their retail, which brought the price down to competitive levels.

Now I will continue to talk with anyone about Neu or Hyperion but I will NOT talk about MaxAmps.

Thanks Chad
-Zack

P.S. A few Videos will be posted up tonite

Look at how instant the acceleration is:

My driving skills(or lack there of) look good in this one

Me and dad goofing off.

I was not happy about this, you'll see why:

I wasn't able to see the other side of this table top but I heard the loud thud (the picture camera doesn't do it justice). Terrible place for a boulder! This is a BMX track where young kids could really hurt themselves on a rock of this size. Of course the truck didn't have a scratch but look at how fast the truck comes to a stop from about 25-30MPH. I moved the rock far far away.

Batteries are getting low at this point:

Just me messing around but look at the HUGE BMX track. You see about half of it here!

I watched all the vids ans pics of your album : WELL DONE
So what are the pros and cons of this new setup ?

Some specific questions for you :

- What CD do you use and what's your oil setup (rear/center/front) ?
- Are 4 shocks enough ?
- Do you have a part number for the Dubro rod ends ?
- No problem with the stock diff ?
- What body did you use with your previous FLM chassis ? This one http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...3-00&search=Go or this one http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...6-00&search=Go ?

Thanks !

PS : I like your home-made mud guards
