Did you decide on a motor yet and controller for sure?? I am going to get my 1521 hooked up tomm hopefully and see how it does on the MMT if I get my motor clamps. I hope its got enough juice to push my truck to 70mph or so. Right now the biggest problem is finding tires to do big mph runs on.

Did you buy the premounted ones? That's the same problem I had with mine. My next set will be done with some tape on the tires and that should help them a little.

Yes pre-mounted ones......

They have been good till right under a shade under 70mph. Running around 65-67mph which is what the truck runs consistently. Let me know how the taping works out....

hey Jze.. after seeing what that 1521 can do, I might just stick to single 1527, but it Mike takes too long with the 1527.. I'll just buy me a 3080 or something.... race season is already starting this weekend coming up....

But Lehner has my 2280 motor, and decided to cover it under warranty.. so I don't have to pay anything but shipping....

The only motor I have to put on the GST are the KB45.. I might have to do this, since I don't have any other big motors at the moment..

I went with 2 more 1527's and a 2215 coming. I was talking to Neu today, thinking about trying something like you had attempted. I am going to see if I can still fit twin 1527's on 12S....so about like you had said....around 9000 watts...lol. This would be on the buggy, problem is I really haven't figured out how to mount the motors. The batteries are now taken care of though......

Hard to say. The 1527 will run 4000 watts pretty easily according to Neu, plus you can run the rpms much higher. The 1915's are rated 3000 watts and RPM's are limited. The 1915 runs a larger diameter rotor, but the 1527 rotor is LONG.

I just can't wait for the motors to come in... I only have the GST and Firehammer Left to work on.... 9000+ Watts is my goal as well.. I want to drag my bike around..
