Alcohol is called the social lubricant, but it can be anti-social as well, if volume gets involved.
I recently lost a sister, she was handicapped for a long period of time due to an accident with a drunk driver (that's what i hate about irresponsible drivers, i would rather hit them dead than to shake their hands) he later turned out to be an uncle of a friend of my other sister.. quite remarkable...

Sorry for your loss too.
yes, we've been to Greece on Holiday for 3 times now.
I've witnessed some drunk guys getting in their vehicle and drive. The roads don't help either, rather chaotic.

I brew my own beers. Sake is good too, in various forms. For the hard stuff I have a friend that bootlegs some nasty paint stripper, and otherwise I like about anything that is mixed well. Jack and coke, crown and coke, Equal parts jack and lemon juice, all good.

Since I gave up partying many moons ago, I only drink to enjoy and usually only one or two. My problem wasn't necessarily alcohol but the other things I mixed with the alcohol.
Beer: I like Guinness Draft or Shiner Bohemian Black Lager
Liquor: Jack Daniels Single Barrel or Sauza Hornitos Tequila (smooth drinking, better than the rest in my opinion)
Soda: Dr Pepper is king, made in Texas, by Texans, for Texans! (but we share it with other people too)

as a hobby I uses to make my own beer a friend I used to make it with had a uncle who had his own hops farm in central washington state and we would use the Red Hook reciepe and the first batch we ever made turned out wrong but it was our best we ever did, tasted like a slightly watered down version of Guiness stout. We were never able to duplicate that batch though .
There was a funny story we hadnt bought a scale yet to weigh the hops s I brought some hops and ziplock baggies into the local Safeway and asked the girl in the deli if she could weigh them in 4oz increments and put them in the baggies for me...I got this shocked look and she said ( you are pretty brave bringing that in the store)...she thought it was marijuana and it could be mistakening for that.

I like lotsa of stuff:
Baileys (or any half decent irish cream)
Southern comfort, lime and lemonade- tastes beautiful
Larger- fosters, stella, bud etc
Tawny port- drank a whole bottle once, big mistake.
Archers and lemonade
Cider... oh yes- Addlestones (proper cider), or any cheap stuff from a supermarket tastes great.

Captain and coke, Captain morgan Parrot Bay coolers, smirnoff mandrin or absolute mandrin and oj, creamsicles, tanguerey and sprite, and Goldschlager. As far as non-alcoholic drinks goes it's Wild Cherry Pepsi, Pepsi, Mt Dew, or water.

i personally enjoy any hard liquor straight, in shot form, my favorite being tequila, i'm starting to get a big collection going, the best so far being the Don Julio 1942, a great tequila. i am always looking for new tequilas so any recommendations would be great, azjc i think i might have to give 3 amigos a try.

sorry to hear that, i'm c 5/6 due to my own mistake on a trampoline, i got hit 'n run a couple weeks ago by a drunk driver, luckily there weren't any injuries and found the s.o.b. a couple miles down the road with a blown out tire, he was so drunk he asked me for a spare tire.
