350- how old are you both?
I was in the same boat. The first girl I took to Homecoming was a 10, I fell for her the first time I met her. Turned out she hated me at the time but did it to be nice. After the dance we turned out to be awesome friends and still are today.
In other words, not to be negative here, but if it doesnt work like you want it, good friends are always good to have.
And Slow down like Papa said. Girls can throw you for a loop, figure them out first by something simple like coffee or what not.

The worst mistake I made before I got married was to not let my wife know that I watch football all weekend. If she had known that before we got married, she wouldn't be pissed off every weekend for half the year! ;) I keep trying to tell her that there's worse things I could be doing.
(Truth be told, I compromised rather quickly. I dropped watching college ball, and I only watch a couple of the pro games now.)
Good luck with everything!
PS. Maronong ka po magsalita ng Tagalog, Cebuano, Ilonggo, Akleanon, or Karaya?
He's down by the river ... walking on water.

Some great advice here...
I have a quote for situations as these:
"No matter how good she looks, someone somewhere is tired of putting up with her sh!t!"
My advice would echo the others'. Don't give up RC completely for anyone but yourself. Putting it aside for the time being is one thing. Don't change yourself for anyone. As C.H.U.D mentioned, it will cause unforseen bitterness down the road.
