Here are my five favorite rc action shots. I have a few more I think, I'll just need to dig through them...

Here's a recent picture I took of my rotating Christmas tree using slow shutter.

And here's one of my daughter jumping off the couch with her tongue hanging out. (The mattress was there because we always sleep under the Christmas tree on Christmas Eve Eve.

I have a Nikon D40, but I'm still learning how to use it. I've seen great pictures taken with a D40, but I don't have the skills yet.

I've got a Samsung 7.2mp s730 that I got new for like 80 bucks. It is a nice camera for the money. Takes great up close pics with macro and high quality pics otherwise. It can do High quality video. When I uploaded a video to youtube it turned out in high quality and I don't know but it might be HD now if I try. The one thing I don't like is the batteries. It takes AA's and even brand new rechargable ones last maybe 20 minutes on a good day.

It won't compare to a "real" camera, but if someone needs a cheap camera I recommend this one.

D90 with

18-55 VR
55-200 VR
50 f/1.4 AF
85 f/1.8 AF
55 f/2.8 Micro/Macro
28mm

Best part is that I can get almost 1000 pics on a charge. Depends on the conditions though.

And a Canon G9 and a fujifilm.

Here is a great review of the D40. This guy has owned tons of really expensive cameras, and he highly recommends the D40. He even has an online user guide for it in layman's terms.
