I don't mind the date, for as long as we know it a few month in advance. I don't mind the place either, but near mikes place would be fine for me, as I plan to stay a few days in his area.

For me it's just a matter of getting the cash, but if I step down on my RC spendings I should have it in a few months.

LOL Rene, I take the hint. But it's not as bad as that, we would be ending up hitch-hicking, believe me!:L:

Man, maybe I should really get a messenger again, and speak with you dutchies some. But I just don't like those messengers much.

Does anyone else have a preference for July? Since nothing has been planned at this point, the date is definitely negotiable.
I chose August to start because I figured it was the furthest away before school started, but no other reason.

Keep the replies coming with ideas and input!

I'm hoping that we can have at least a date and location before the middle of February, then we can start figuring out motel information and event information.

:)

FYI - for those interested, if we have the event in NY it will be at Barnstormers. Here is a Mapquest link for that location:
http://www.mapquest.com/maps/map.adp...&zipcode=10918
You can use the link to get driving directions and approximate drive time.

well july would be much better for me since school starts REALLY early (like 10thish) and a little furter south would be AWESOME. i know theres a HUGE track (The Farm 2) in N.C. is this a possibility since barnstormers is 1400 miles or 21 hours away!!

it really doesnt matter to me when it is or weather it is in N.C. or New York. Just let me know a few months in advance so that i will be able to get plans made.

with only a 8 hour 45 min drive(for me) i still think it would be less of a hassel to drive there rather than have to go through security at the airport but my neighbor does have a few airplanes of his own maybe he could fly me there :D :D :D its just a thought

Its a little over 16 hours for me to NY, but I would still consider the trip to meet friends i have met here. The Farm2 is one of the best tracks in the south and would be an excellent location. I haven't been there myself but i have heard great things about it

Work because i gotta, play because i wanna

People here hate Nitro, I love it. I start it, run it about 50 ft from me and it dies, I go after it. Perfect exercise
