He's well and wondering how you do feel to be a cannibal on Thanksgiving ?

Wow, chunky !
I main reason I'm electing to purchase the Slash, it should be a lot lighter, hopefully ?

Your truck looks great, have you had it on the track yet, happy with it ?

That is w/ the 2s 5k hard shell lipo ;) The weight and truggy'ish setup is what will keep this thing 2-3 sec faster easy out on the race track over the slash 4x4. It won't be close iMO, traxxas suspension blows on the slash 2x the rustler and all others and they elected to not upgrade it so.. that is my main reason for going w/ the ofna. The fact it has all aluminum to start is nice as well :) These two trucks will be dumped in the same class so be careful which you pick!

Agreed and well stated, I don't think I'll be club racing my Slash. Trying to concentrate on getting my skills honed with my buggy for now. I doubt I'll be ready for 2 classes next year ?
Definitely something to consider. But in TRX defense the 4X4 Slash should be much better than the 2wd Slash with more weight, longer shocks and the lower skid design seem to be tighter up to the chassis than the 2wd. Don't know for sure ?

Uggg, you guys are killing me here! I just had to call my LHS and get him to put the Platinum Edition on order for me. It's a no brainer for me since I wouldn't have used the RTR radio or battery pack anyhow.

Just don't see the attraction of the Slash w/ that chassis design?

Agreed. Won't compete with the Hyper 10 SC or the CRT.5 version, though it does have more ground clearance... And it's waterproof.
