You said you had a hpi pinion not hot bodies unless they are the same company or something. My hb 26 tooth pinion looks alot different and better made than the 25 tooth savy pinion.

Hey Linc, do you know if Mike's gear place can do other gears other than pinions? I'm assuming they make the spurs for his slipdiff.

Before the HPI bulletproof diffs came out, I wanted to talk to him about making a machined version of the Cen R&P as they are just cast metal. Prolly not a whole lot of value now tho. However, given the success of the RCM pinions, I'm sure there are some other apps RCM could make top notch gear sets for.

Hot bodies = HPI. Same company, different offset product with different name.

RCM pinions are the way to go. they last FOREVER. IMO, they are much much stronger than other brand pinions. here are 2 pics of my older pinions. The first one wore to that from a like new state in about a week. with a fiegao 8L on 5s. The second one is an interesting story. I was jumping my buggy, and tried to correct it in the air. I didnt let off the brakes in time(and my brake endpoint was very high too) and when it hit the ground, the CC2650 kept the pinion almost stopped, while the car rolled, and the spurgear ate through the pinion. Needless to say, thats what happens with non-RCM pinions. Leave the integy pinions for the maxamps racers.

And why? I'm also confused if I need to order those TVP braces to have the FLM skid plate stay attached or not.
