Fortunately I started with the mechanics and worked my way up to the brushless so hopefully I won't suffer from breakage!

Not in the last couple years. My job is way up north and I live in the city. I cant ever seem get out that way. I used to go to the track that was in Libertyville. But thats gone now quite some time. I'm kinda stuck in no mans land right now and just bashing.
I can't decide if its more fun
to make it...
or break it...

I live in the northern suburbs and commute to Elmhurst. I used to go to the Libertyville track too, but no longer. I was bummed that they closed it. Not much else in the area to run on.

For right now I'm thinking of running my green machine 3 pro around with 12 cells (most of you are thinking green machine?) and seeing how that works till I have enough money for the 5700 motor and FLM tranny case for my rusty. This things going to be crazy.

Anybody want to take bets on how long it lasts :005: my bet is 3 minutes and the smoke smell will never leave ;) :dft012:
Work because i gotta, play because i wanna
People here hate Nitro, I love it. I start it, run it about 50 ft from me and it dies, I go after it. Perfect exercise

I would just like to point out that while the motor rpm may be running at 60krpm most people when running hi reving systems gear to achieve a similar top speed as before if they want it to be usable.
what this means is that unless were gearing for insane speed runs we end up with the transmission running at the same rpm.
