I'm also keen to get a 1:10 buggy. I am deciding between the Kyosho Laser ZX5, MRC SBv2 Pro, and the JConcept BJ4WE. I think it's going to be the BJ4WE if I don't have to wait a long time for it. Getting one requires entering a preorder list and waiting. :(

There are some very in depth reviews of 1:10 buggies on www.oople.com. They have the KM conversion there even.

Yeah,oople.com is great, you get a very in depth look at the cars.

The zx-5 would seem the logical choice, right price range, can use stick packs and can convert to the BJ4 layout later if you get more serious and want to run saddle packs.

Also worth a mention is the dark impact with a few upgrades, that gives you the benefit of the enclosed shaft drive aswell as the transverse motor for mod or BL motors.

I'll list them for you:

BJ4

HB Cyclone D4

Tamiya TRF501X

Yokomo MR4-BX

Predator X10

IMHO, those are the very best.

I don't think it will be $470... I have heard around $300... but we will have to see. If it's only $30 less than a B4 then they would not have made it imo.

HB has done this before... they copied the Kyosho 1/8... you could buy it for way less than the Kyosho.
