my experience with needed upgrades were better diffs, shafts, and slipper. I suppose I should mention a new body too with the number of times it's been on its lid.
I have MIP CVDs all around, UE Spyder 6 diffs, and the strobe slipper and sprong. If you are running the stock slipper, my advice is run 12 pegs and little if any slip. For the diffs, I learned I went pretty much to the extreme. It looks like aluminum diffs with properly shimmed ring and pinion could have been enough. So far, I haven't had any trouble with the stock transmission.
Now back to topic. :)

Mt ethusiast you have the bases covered then. Better safe than sorry. Better to have a driveline to strong than not strong enough.
Peace!

I'm sure you will post, Mike, when it is available but thought I would check just in case. Any word yet.

The trannies are done and should be in house by mid week next week. Full trannies and half trannies.

Mike
Will you please tell us a little more about these transmission cases? Specifically, what the forcasted benefits are, and what sort of price range we may expect. Inquiring minds would like to know.
Thanks in advance.

Benefits=bling! The full tranny case should be around $75. The half case designed to fit the g-maxx single speed will be about half of that(makes sense!). For the half case, it will improve the strength of the tranny mount, as it will now be aluminum vs. the cast nylon on the stock tranny(4 screws). It will also allow the tranny to be full aluminum vs. just the aluminum front from the single speed conversion. The full case will achieve the same thing for those interested in the full tranny cncd from aluminum.
