Need help makeing my mind up on Tires

Hello again. I ordered some stuff for my e-maxx but I think tires are next on the list for the upgrade.

I will be kinda race bashing in a very rough track. I will be run 9xl on 6s A123 cells and using the FLM ext chassis. I need something to help with stability. I can not make up my mind on Proline 40 series or offset wheels. It is a shame you can not get both and be really wide.

Does the extra mass of the 40 series have a big impact on power?
Or
Should I be thinking the 40 series gives better grip.

I have gone back and forth a couple of time. about the only think I have desided is I hate tire glue and want to have beadlocks.... Oh since this is bashing run time is important also...
