What's the advantage of the "pre-sale"? Does that just mean you get it sooner?

You get it sooner and cheaper, at the cost of dealers like Mike losing sales.

Hmmm, that's kind of what I thought. Maybe waiting another week won't be a big deal at this point.

You get it sooner. Mike has it listed in his store at the MAP price for $170. The same as you will pay to castle. It just tht castle is offering a Pre-Sale for those who order direct from them and they will ship to the direct purchase customers who preordered on the CC website before they even ship to the dealers like RC-Monster.

Very cool for those end users chomping at the bit for one, but not so nice to do to the dealers that have had multi thousand dollar orders already placed for this anticipating the initail wave of demand.

I can't decide if its more fun
to make it...
or break it...

Ah, didn't notice that. Beauty, cause it makes it even easier to wait a week to support Mike.

I agree- mike can have my money, although it will be via some nice American person who understands about my not wanting to give HMC&E my money :whislte:

I hope to hear good reviews too- that will be the deal maker or breaker...

Ok, will be ordering from Mike since he has the pre-order and also I can easily wait for a few weeks since I already have a perfectly functioning 16018. Hopefully he will be doing the bullets and deans too! I aint too good with the soldering iron u know? ;)

Not ETA yet but not far a while. While on the subject. Are the combos going to be with the neu motors or with the neu/castle motors which are still in development?

I can't offer the pre-sale (not so nice of Castle for stealing these initial sales from dealers IMO), but I have the controllers listed and folks should be able to sign up to be notified when they come into stock(should among the first). :)
Hope you are getting 2499 of the 2500

If he gets one that would be fine as long as it is the one that I purchase.

Hopefully Mike will have a large stock in hand, because from the noise on here there are a lot of guys planning to make double and triple purchses. This is going to get interesting...
