Mine died today. The fan controller died last week after about 1 hour of run time. I decided to get another before I sent his one back so I put in a fan running off the rx but today the car went about 2 laps & shut off. No bec voltage. V2 #1 for me after 2 V1's.

No, I refuse to run an external bec when I paid for the one in the ESC to work. It's bad enough that we have to deal with the BS mechanical design on the fan and it's wire/ connector issues. I'm not running a crazy set-up or putting an unusual load on the anything. I'm running an Hitek 985MG steering servo and as Spectrum 3100 rx.

did you know they are now installing foam under the board... guess they must be listening :)

opened it up and was suprised how small it is, to fit all that stuff in the little board then make a gigantic case for it all. took off the bottom sticker so i can actually stick it to my mount, seems dumb to stick it on the bottom but o well.

right for the foam..... i remove this foam after my second failure(my esc failed once and restart after power on)my esc failed second time and i open the case....i was tinking that the foam was my problem(maybe causing heat of the bec whatever.....)but...my v2 failed third time after 3 min....nothing to do...simply died
