Im running it on 14 cells, and due to the light - weight factor, i can probably go about a 17-18 t pinion.

When i posted that, the 12 cells reffered to my e-maxx, now i have the revo with 14 CELLS! It changed the performance alot!

I have no experience with 14 cells, all my racing was done on 12 cells, but I can tell you i'm close to 30 with 12. I broke in all my titans with a power supply at 6 volts for 30 minutes and used Prolong oil treatment on everything (bushings commutator and bearings in the truck). In the Emaxx i could keep up with a nitro Tmaxx (TRX.15 not 2.5)on our little track. I have not done this to my G2R yet but i can still keep up with a stock revo on the same track (thanks to the supperior handling. The gearing i used then and now is 18/66 but with 14 cells i would go with 16 tooth pinion with a 66 spur. Let me know how it runs with 14 cella i might do it when i get better cells, all mine suck bad.

How did you get it down to 9 pounds? I just swapped over from a revo and mine weighs 12 pounds RTR with batteries

First off, i have all the aluminum lightweight pillowballs, rocker posts, and i have traxxas revo response tires, mounted on hurricanes, single speed tranny, ans more things, ill tell you more once i remember what.

I took it out for another run, it was great! The runtime was fanominal and the batteries only charged up to 1800-1900 mAh range. I have a question, in the g2r kit, the new aluminum rear skid plate replaces the stock one, how can i prevent from loosing any suspension pins, the stock plastic one holds them in place so they stay in, ive already lost 1 pin from my run, The fronts o.k beacause the new skidplate goes over the stocker. Any help would be appreciated.

do you have to replace them with c clips on them.

coolhand, the suspension pins on the revo just slip in there. theres 4 bottom (2 front 2 rear per end of the revo so technically 8), and the uppers are 1 piece. on the bottom there is no way of using clips since they would com out anyway.

oh, and syvester. it doesnt replace it... it goes over the stock like the front...

Sylvester. The Gorilla skid goes over the stock revo skid. the stock skid holds the pinsand you hahe the standoffs to attach the Gorilla skids. Look at the instructions and you'll see it is similar to the front. Also thanks for the info on the lightweight mods
