still thinking of more shock absorption, definitely stiffer but i think its going to take thicker oil for me to be satisfied, any ideas it has 35wt in there now, any suggestions without giving up drivability, so im thinking 50wt perhaps

I run 40wt in mine, yours being heavier, I think 50wt would do it.

I run the yellow springs and 45 wt. oil 50 would probably be better. It can jump 30ft and love it. I can jump the whole track off the big jump and all 1/10th guys just turd. I wear my RCM shirt and point them here. Surprised no ones called me out yet

Cool another IL dude, Algonquin not to far... I was running at this place was up the 90 ontop of a hill. I had the website but fried my PC and its now a fresh puppy. He owns a golf driving range and put in a track, he rents slashes for people to use if they dont have. I live right by the 53/90 and the tracks 20 minute drive west and up a big hill. Also the guy from truerc.com lipos bought 2 warehouses and opened a carpet track and it going to open an indoor dirt track soon. They are both closed at the moment, guess he fudged up some zoning amunsment law thing. Should be some good winter fun though ! Call him up

well after my 40mph curb smash trashing my chassis, shock towers, and front bulkhead, also bent up my roll cage a bit but nothing that cant be fixed, also bent my motor mount but was also able to straiten that as well. one dumb mistake has aot of work in front of me. but on a better not was a great chance to buy the losi upgrade chassis. as i found it shipped on atomic for 74bucks. so its a start i really love this thing so it will get fixed, its just money is a problem at the moment so peice by peice it will eventually get fixed, no hurry till spring, im just glad i have another thing to drive in the meantime

how many times did you wrap the tires with the line? Did you just use CA to secure it? Were the tires also taped?
Thanks!

the tires came pre glued so never got a chance to tape them, so i ran 3 winds in 4 spots, tied it and used ca glue to help hold it in place. they will stay in place and help ballooning very much so. but if u start spinning out and turning hard they will come off, but i went from pizza cutters back to a wide tire and can keep it strait full speed. also if the tires cant expand u can no longer due back flips from a stop. as the balloning really helps it flip around.

So its time for an update after the crash, after some bent tirerods, a broken bulkhead, shock towers and a pretty badly bent chassis that was just tweeked from its weakness before from just jumping. im about 90% back together, I got the losi hardened chassis which is musch less flexible than the stock flimsy chassis. I ordered lst shock towers but realized the body mount positions are wider than the muggy towers. i really like the stance better and it is way more stout than with the muggy towers. i think i may just keep them and modify my rollcage to fit, i just have to widen the mounting plates. im due for a new body anyhow and am thinking of just leaving it clear to show off my goodies! Just need a battery tray i ordered from mike and im ready for spring! ill post pics soon.
