Hey, The TC5 is a awesoms handleing car, I like it's chararcteristics much better than the TC4 Team cars I've had. It's quieter and seems to be able to put the power down a little better. With the way the chassis is designed to flex I beleieve it helps tons for traction.

My car has ben sitting for the last few weeks after I got it all back together. I plan on hitting a new indoor track one of these days that they built about 40miles away from home. I may start running it there ?

I ran it at the oval races, the first night out it got trashed ! The guys out there really drive like BONZIs, wreckless and never let off the gas. The heats were a mess, the guys out there are really rough on cars. Half way through the main I got bumped and hit by 4-5 other racers and I was out. Damage was 2 broken shocks, control arm, C-hub, bent sway bar and 50.00 worth of mangled foam tires. I'm NOT going to be racing my TC5 out there again till those jackasses settle down some. Sorry to sound like a baby but I have $700.00+ invested in this car and it's not meant for crash up derby style racing. I'll stick with my Slash Oval racer instead, it's tougher and cheaper.

I retired from RC, now life is all about guns and long range shooting.

The best (and only)upgrade I did on my TC5 was the Exotec Lipo Chassis really balanced it out and worth the money.

I like this, I think I can make my own lipo brackets easy enough ? I've ben useing Nylon packing tape to help hold them in but this gives me ideas of my own design. Thanks for posting.

The TC6 looks pretty sweet, not much has changed ? The shocks look nice, I dont care the TC5 models at all, had troubles with all of them leaking. I called AE and they set a new complete set out free and I rebuilt them all and one still seeps a bit, Bad design.

I haven't had any trouble with my shocks....YET. But I did get mine before they had even released the R and F versions. Who knows.

I have been lurking around RC-M for a while now and I have to say this is by far the one I enjoy the most seeing how I'm a Brushless ADDICT!!!! like everyone else on here.
