Are we there yet?...Are we there yet?
This all seems like an endless roadtrip.
Just when you think you're getting closer to the trees on the horizon by driving over the hill, there's another looong stretch of highway you have to sit through!
If you think about it, both situations are like illusions.
Anyway, I'm not in a hurry since practically all of my time goes into studying to become an electrical engineer.
My trucks are getting neglected ever since the semester started.
I know I won't be among the first to get one so I'll just let you guys have all the fun.

The motor isn't going to be a Neu, but the motor design is licensed from Neu. The motor is gonna be a doozy, from what I hear.

Final specs as I know:

6S LiPo
200A continuous
Built-in CCBEC
Has a fan
Comes with motor, but will be available as ESC only

I do not know if anyone has caught this or not, but if you go visit the Mega motors website and look at model # (ACn Car8) which is the square blue finned motor. In the specs section they have suggested setups from testing criteria with 21volts & 22volts for the MMM at 40amps geared with a 14t pinion, at 29,000RPM's. So they must know something that we do not.

According to Mega, you can run a MM on 6s, but there are no confirmed setups that survived. They have a vid of an XB8 supposedly on 6s, and they told me the 8ight made for robinson racing and profiled by RC Driver was a 6s powered MM. I'm not sure how they did it without modding like those here that tryed it, but if they did it with a stock MM, I htink the mmm might be a real hoss and can be possibly overdriven by at least 2s lipo

Work because i gotta, play because i wanna

People here hate Nitro, I love it. I start it, run it about 50 ft from me and it dies, I go after it. Perfect exercise

I thought it turned out that those dual 3s packs were running in parallel instead of series? Even with the older version, I only know of people running 5s, and don't remember anyone running 6s...

I thought the caps and fets on the MM were 25v components. If you run them on a fully charged 6s pack that would be 25.2v

Thats a littel close for comfort on the MM. The MMM will likely be 35v or 50v components. if they are going to spec it at 6s. They gotta have room for any voltage spikes when braking on a near full battery.

Ummm...DEAD WRONG. We beta tested all of those products and have testers for the MMM as well.

Here I am.

And for those that are looking for specs, here ya go. The MMM should be available in March. We're waiting on the things that are out of our hands right now. Boards, cases, boxes, manuals, etc. It'll be able to handle up to 6s lipo and 200A continuous. It'll also have our Castle BEC switching regulator integrated into the controller so you'll be able to dial your output voltage to your servo(s) to anything you want between 4.8v and 9v in 0.1v increments. The motors we've licensed from Steve Neu (arguably the best motors in the world). Total cost of the combo should be around $300. If any of you want to be notified when it's released shoot me an email at support@castlecreations.com and I'll add you to the list. When it's released you'll get an email from yours truly. :)

What will the KV rating be on the packaged motor Joe?

and which one first? or will all be available at the same time?

I think they'll be offering three motor choices - 1500 2000 and 2200. Is that right Joe?
