I find the thoretical top speed closer most of the time. I'm not really sure that the drag adjusted thing is all that accurate. Seems like WAY to many variables to accurately estimate them all. Its cool that it tries to do it though.
Brian... I'm interested in this "project" also. If it is what I think it is it will be an awesome addition around here.
I can't decide if its more fun
to make it...
or break it...
Is it a.... database similar to your motor selector and speed calculator to be used as a system builder and component selector for selecting all of the components you need to do a conversion for most of the common vehicle conversions? You select your vehicle and then choose basic options and it selects the components you need to do your conversion. Not just a motor selector, but a whole setup selector. Motor mount, battery tray, pinion gears, everything you needed for a specific conversion.
Top all that off with a "Buy Now" button at the bottom and have it all load into the cart and you would have a beautiful system.

- Added CEN Matrix diff/spur
- Removed "drag adjusted" speed from the "Top Speed Estimator" page because there are too many variables to be useful.
- Added clarification for vehicle weight in the "Motor Selector" page.
- Added a "Scale Speed Calculator" page. Yeah, not really useful, but it was easy to do so why not?
