My bad.
It's okay :), the way you said it "i was told" was very rumor alike, If you've got a good information then it's better to be accurate instead of leaving the doubt.

Rumors is the one of the very reason that Mr Delcastillo wasn't willing to post here ...

True, I was told that it was to do with the Motec System Exhaust?

The Novak heatsink and a pair of 40mm fans are working much better for me. I will take a picture of what the truck looks like now. Its just a big wiring mess with the BEC and 3 fans running. The MMM cleared it all up for me. When the MMM combos come out I will definetely get rid of the extra fans and heatsinks and just go with that. Should make for a nice clean install.

2-3 weeks on the V3? I think I can wait My Muggy needs an ESC and it's a toss-up between a MMM and MGM right now.

I just got this email from Castle concerning my MMM, I just thought I would share with everyone else:
[I]"This is a status update for your Mamba Monster ESC currently in for repair at Castle Creations. We have found that a small number of setups are damaging the controller, and our Engineering department is working 100% on resolving this issue. Progress is being made, and as soon as we get the ok from engineering we will begin repairing and replacing all of the Monsters that we have in for repairs.

We apologize for the inconvenience, and will continue to keep you informed.

Sincerely,

The Castle Team"

Hmm. It would be nice to know exactly how these few setups are damaging the BEC on the controller...

Yea that is what I would like to know, as my setup is fairly simple, there shouldn't be any problems.

I guess it would have to be the radios or servos that could be causing the problem. Castle can't test all the radio/servo combinations you know. Or it could be the way your mmm is mounted - which may effect how your MMM gets rattled after a hard landing.

I agree on the setup issue. Maybe we should have people post their setups that have had great success. I thought my 7xl feigao setup was as safe as you can get. I thought all you guys with the neu motors were making these things go bad. Me and my fans on the feigao were supposed to be laughing all the way to the track.

Some people had posted on the poll that theirs was working fine. But many have since failed. Since they had already voted on the poll, I had to manually subtract one from the success and add one to the fail counts. At first, the successes were about 2:1, but the fails are slowly catching up. So, I'm not sure how accurate any poll would be at this point.
