I'm still playing. I know some of the guys still might have some buying power. I'll be waiting for some of my stocks to go up.

I guess my GM (gmgmq) gamble paid off after all. I thought I had gotten in too early, but things are looking alright now.

I gotta try this for practice for real life. Looks a lot less painful. :)
Been doing OK lately, the whole rally since Mar has been good, but I'm worried that the market is looking to correct and pull down a bit. 2Q is almost up, and IDK how well the earnings will boost things back up. My thought is things will be a bit sobering.
Have to give this a try :)

Since I started this game, if I had done exactly what I did, I could've cashed with a nice return. The market right now is a bit complicated. One day you can see a Pharma company gain over 500%, but the next it'll probably drop that much . A lot of investors now are in it to make a quick profit and cash out. If you know how to surf, you can put that into the stock market now. You will get some good waves and those waves will eventually break and then there will be that one wave that is the biggest from time to time. If one has the real $$$$ to invest right now, there are a lot of good companies that are down 30-70% from their highs so it's a good time to hold some stocks for the long run. If you are in it for a quick profit, do your homework and look into the Pharma sector as any little news regarding new drugs, phases and FDA approvals comes up the stock goes up to the moon, just make sure you cash out in time.

Re: Market
I'd be off a lot better if I always did what I meant to do. Unfort I keep trying to hang on for the last extra 10%, or wait too long to move, and I watch the wave pass by. Little making good returns, but the number of I times I would have been better to just stick to my plan rather than get greedy at the last minute.... Idiot. I've almost got the lesson drilled in, but I imagine its gonna take a few more times. ;) Limits are your friend.

Knowing what the market will do next in this economy is tough. Just look at what I did, in less then a year I went from last place with less then $500,000 to over $9,000,000. The game basically started when my friend told me he was thinking about investing. I told him about this game and he got interested and I said we would start with a million. I told him I would just be messing around and I bought some bad stocks and he bought stocks that he thought was good, but now he's in last place and not playing anymore, keep in mind I was in last place. So I told him I would start playing for real and now I'm in first place lol. So now my plan is just to hold on to what I have until the end. I'll hoping Lehman goes to $5 . I'm surprised nobody jumped on GM and when they come out of the OTC (Pink Sheets) market, it should jump much higher. We'll see what the future will hold lol.

Its going to be impossible to get anywhere near you. You started the game in one of the biggest rallies in market history. Can't imagine how some people in real life made out. Too bad I had/have only so much cash to put in, so many good stocks and not nearly enough money to put down on even a decent number of them (unless I was looking to own a handful of shares... )
