Looks very tight! Just my advice on the whole thing, I know money is an issue. But dont be afraid to splurge a little to get the results you want. No one ever said that RC was inexpensive and you went from Blah to WOW in a nice way.

I just ordered my 17t mod1 pinion an neu endbell dust cover from mike and my 1515 1y from a guy out in Oregon (sorry Mike, I tried to wait).

Team3six, I am splurging on this, that is why it is taking so long. I could have gone the 8xl MM route and had it running already, I have spare MM laying around. here's hoping taht next moth when I get round 2 of 2008 budget from wife Mike has an mgm 16018 in stock!

Did the tranny work today.

Stock:

Wide ratio:

Center diff:

2nd gear locked, I'm trying it with the centrifugal clutch locked in rather than against the pin. If it hold's, great! if not I'l get another disk and redo it. I clamped it in a vice and connected an 18v drill to the shaft. no flex at all.

Finished, 1st gear removed:

Still missing lipos and an MMM, but it runs! 12 very old and tired nimh and a MM with no ubec. GriffinRu has my MM right now performing his stage 1 mod. lipos get ordered next Friday.

pardon the messy wires, this is just a mockup, they will get cleaned up.

temps after 12 mins were batts 114, motor 109, esc 111

I dropped the punch control fro 80% to 50%. The truck run great but the diff is unloading now. I just finished putting ofna diff lock lube in the CD and am on wy way out to test it now.
